The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is compiling an Ecological Atlas to guide coastal marine spatial planning as part of Oregon’s Territorial Sea Plan. The Atlas maps individual marine resources – like kelp beds, rocky reefs and other ecological information – that will be used to determine potential sites for future ocean development projects.
